Terms of Service

By accessing or using TalentReady (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

1. Platform Purpose & Nature of Service

TalentReady operates an online recruitment marketplace that connects mid-career professionals (“Talent”) with ACRA-verified employers (“Employers”). We are a technology facilitator only. We do not act as an employment agency, recruiter, or party to any employment contract. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, interview invitations, job offers, or hiring decisions for any user.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally permitted to work or hire in Singapore to use this Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity.

4. Professional (Talent) Terms

By registering as a Talent user, you confirm that:

  • All information in your profile — including work history, qualifications, skills, and availability — is accurate and not misleading.
  • You are not misrepresenting your identity, credentials, or eligibility to work in Singapore.
  • You understand that your profile, including AI-generated insights, may be visible to and reviewed by Employers who have purchased access.
  • You grant TalentReady a non-exclusive licence to display and process your profile data for the purpose of facilitating recruitment matches.

5. Employer Terms

By registering as an Employer, you confirm that:

  • Your company is a legitimate, ACRA-registered business entity in Singapore, and the UEN you provide is accurate.
  • All job postings represent genuine, current vacancies.
  • Job postings comply with Singapore’s Employment Act, Fair Consideration Framework (FCF), and all applicable employment laws, including prohibitions on discriminatory hiring practices based on race, religion, gender, age, or disability.
  • Credits purchased to unlock Talent profiles are used solely for legitimate recruitment purposes and not for solicitation, data harvesting, or any other purpose.
  • If the account representative changes (e.g., due to resignation), the new representative takes on full responsibility for compliance with these Terms by continuing to use the account. We reserve the right to require re-acceptance of Terms upon an account email change.
  • We reserve the right to remove job postings that do not meet our standards or that violate applicable law, without refund.

6. Credit System & Payments

  • Credits are purchased in advance via our payment processor and applied to your account upon payment confirmation.
  • Credits are used to unlock individual Talent profiles (1 credit = 1 profile unlock). Once a profile is unlocked, the credit is consumed and non-refundable, whether or not a hire results.
  • Credits have an expiry period specified at the time of purchase. Expired credits are forfeited without refund.
  • Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
  • All prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD). We reserve the right to change credit pricing at any time; existing purchased credits are not affected by pricing changes.
  • Refunds, if any, are at our sole discretion except where required by Singapore’s Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act.

7. AI-Powered Features & Disclaimer

  • The Platform uses artificial intelligence to generate match scores, profile insights, and recommendations. These are indicative tools to assist decision-making only.
  • AI match scores do not constitute employment assessments, psychological evaluations, or professional advice of any kind.
  • AI outputs may contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any AI-generated content.
  • Employers and Talent must conduct their own due diligence and must not rely solely on AI scores or recommendations when making hiring, application, or offer decisions.

8. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Post false, misleading, defamatory, or discriminatory content.
  • Use the Platform for any purpose that is unlawful in Singapore.
  • Solicit, harass, or contact other users outside of the Platform’s intended recruitment workflow.
  • Scrape, data-mine, or systematically extract content from the Platform by automated means without our express written permission.
  • Attempt to circumvent the credit system, including sharing unlocked profile data with third parties.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Impersonate any person, company, or entity.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, trademarks, and code on TalentReady are the property of TalentReady or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission. User-submitted content (profiles, job postings) remains the property of the submitting user; you grant us a licence to display and process it to operate the Platform.

10. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services including payment processors, cloud infrastructure providers, and AI service providers. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES, HIRING SUCCESS, OR THE SUITABILITY OF ANY CANDIDATE OR JOB POSTING.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:

  • TalentReady shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount paid by you to TalentReady in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) SGD 100.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Singapore law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TalentReady and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit to the Platform.

14. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases. Provisions that by their nature survive termination (including Sections 9, 11, 12, 13, and 16) shall remain in effect.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect, where reasonably practicable. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be submitted to mediation in Singapore under the Singapore Mediation Centre Rules. If mediation fails, disputes shall be finally resolved by the courts of Singapore, to whose non-exclusive jurisdiction you irrevocably submit.

17. General

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TalentReady regarding your use of the Platform.
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
